For those with no place to stay, no place to go, the Christmas and New Year period can be especially hard. For those sleeping rough, the cold can kill.

In Thanet, the issue of homelessness is not just for Christmas - it's a year-round reality.

But this winter at least a little festive cheer is on offer at the Scrine open centre in Cliftonville, which offers a day and night drop-in service for anyone in need.

Here, a warm welcome and a sense of family is provided for those who have no-one else to turn to - nowhere else to go. Watch our film.
