Brits back off beer as crunch bites

The latest victim of the economic downturn would appear to be the British beer industry where sales of the nations favourite beverage are down almost 10% on last year’s figures. This could be the nail in the coffin for many small pubs -- as many as six of which are closing every day.

Yves Sain Laurent's art collection on show

A collection of works by artists such as Matisse, Picasso and Mondrian go on show in London before a major sale by auction house Christie’s in Paris next month. They're part of a vast collection amassed by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre BergĂ© over a period of 50 years.
