Libyans reject report of Kadhafi call for elections

Despite reports that Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi may be ready to hold elections to resolve the ongoing conflict, locals in the rebel-held zone outside Tripoli reject the news as "lies" and say he must face justice before a court of law. The report came this week from Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, a friend of Kadhafi's, who met with a Libyan delegation in Managua. Reactions from the rebel-held town of Zintan.
